Community content rules

These rules apply to everything shared on PILA and in the Pilates Lovers Community: articles, news, job offers, class offers, workshops, courses and products. When you send us content, you confirm that you have read these rules and accept them.

First, the rules of our Facebook group

PILA grew out of the Pilates Lovers Community (รวมคนรักพิลาทิส), a Facebook group of more than 60,000 members. The group has five rules, and they apply on this website too.

  1. No promotions or spam. Give more than you take. Posts selling courses, equipment or clothing are not allowed in the group feed, including hidden selling.
  2. No hate speech or bullying. Everyone should feel safe. No rude language, drama, bullying or degrading comments.
  3. Do not post from a page. Post as a person, from your own account, even if you own the page.
  4. Be kind and courteous. Debate is natural, but kindness is required. Post politely and with good intentions.
  5. Respect everyone's privacy. What is shared in the group stays in the group.

Because selling is not allowed in the group feed, this website is where class offers, job offers, workshops, courses and products are listed. The rules below are what we ask of everyone who lists something here.

Rules for sharing on PILA

  1. Share only what is yours to share

Post for your own business, event or work, or with the clear permission of the person or business concerned. Do not submit on behalf of someone who has not agreed.

  2. Be accurate and complete

Dates, prices, places, names and contact details must be true when you send them. Give the currency and say what the price includes. If something is not decided yet, say so rather than guess.

  3. Job offers

Name the role, the place, whether it is full-time, part-time or freelance, and how to apply. Say clearly if the role is unpaid or paid in classes or products. Describe what you need in terms of skills, qualifications and availability.

  4. Workshops, courses and certifications

Give the organiser, the teacher, the dates, the venue, the price and how to register. Only describe a course as a certification if it leads to one, and name the body that awards it. Tell us at once if a date changes or the event is cancelled.

  5. Class offers and promotions

Show the real price, the conditions and the date the offer ends. Do not advertise a price that most people cannot actually get.

  6. Health and results

Do not promise to cure, treat or diagnose a condition, and do not guarantee results. State only the qualifications you actually hold. Clinical advice belongs to qualified professionals.

  7. Photos and videos

Use images you own or have the right to use. Anyone who can be recognised in them must have agreed, and a client must have agreed before you show their body or their progress. Say so if an image was made with AI.

  8. Respect and relevance

No insults, harassment or attacks on other teachers, studios or members. No spam, no repeated posting of the same offer, and nothing unrelated to Pilates, movement and wellbeing.

  9. Links, sales and sponsorship

Say so if a link earns you a commission. PILA does not sell the products or services listed and is not a party to any booking, purchase or job. Paid placements are always marked "Sponsored".

  10. Privacy

Do not share another person's phone number, address or private messages. The contact details you give us for a listing will be shown publicly, so give only the ones you want published.

  11. Review, editing and removal

An admin reviews every submission before it appears. We may shorten, correct, translate or decline it, show it on the website and in the Facebook group with a link to your original post, and remove it when it is out of date or breaks these rules. Ask us and we will remove your content.

  12. Your responsibility

You are responsible for what you submit. PILA publishes information in good faith and does not check every detail, so readers should confirm with the organiser before paying or travelling.
