Modern Pilates Instructor Course, Unit 1 starts 11 November 2026

Modern Pilates International Thailand is taking students for Unit 1 of its Modern Pilates Instructor Course, starting on Wednesday 11 November 2026.
What Unit 1 covers
- Anatomy and Pilates theory
- Mat and Reformer
- Traditional Pilates and props
- Fundamental teaching skills: cueing, demonstration and observation
- Teaching skills and class programming for group classes
The Modern Pilates approach puts the weight on precision, understanding the body, and principles drawn from rehab Pilates, so teachers can adapt to clients with different needs. Training is hands-on, with close guidance from Master Instructor Go Byung-Jun, who has more than 23 years of Pilates teaching experience.
The certification is awarded by Modern Pilates International, Korea.
Who it is for
People who want to start out as a Pilates instructor, and those who want a more systematic understanding of movement and teaching. Unit 2 (Advanced Certification) follows on from it.
